Petit to chat with constituents at New Britain pizzeria

NEW BRITAIN - State Rep. William Petit Jr., R-Plainville, wants to hear from constituents at an event later this month.

Petit has announced he will be hosting a Pizza and Politics event for New Britain and Plainville residents on Tuesday, Feb. 19, to discuss the start of the current legislative session.

The event will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the CREC Academy Cafeteria, 600 Slater Road.

According to his announcement, these sessions are designed to provide residents with an opportunity to speak with the representative in a relaxed setting about issues affecting the district, bill proposal ideas and other legislative-related topics.

The event is free and open to residents of the 22nd state House District. Pizza will be provided.
