The department is seeking candidates to fill positions in aquatics, camps and in recreation events and programs. Positions available this summer include: camp supervisor, camp assistant supervisor, camp group leader, pool manager, senior guard, senior swim instructor, swim instructor, lifeguard, pool attendant and recreation attendant.
Camps and pools are open and operate from June to August.
“During the summer time, our Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of employment opportunities for our city’s youth. These jobs offer a steady paycheck and more importantly: lifelong lessons that help individuals to grow and be successful in life,” Mayor Erin Stewart said.
This summer, the new pool at A.W. Stanley Park will be opening, so campers and families can take advantage of the new facility.
