Two new coronavirus cases at CCSU

NEW BRITAIN – Central Connecticut State University reported two new covid-19 cases on Thursday.

One resident student/staff and one out of town commuter students were tested positive for covid-19 by Griffin Health, according to the university’s daily covid-19 dashboard. As of Thursday, there are no persons in quarantine or in isolation.

For the week of Feb. 7 to Feb. 14, Griffin Health tested 792 residence students and staff and had one positive case, giving it a 0.13% positivity rate. Seventy-one commuter students were tested by Griffin Health and one tested positive, providing a 1.41% positivity rate.
