NEW BRITAIN - Mayor Erin Stewart is planning a visit to the Masonic Temple Wednesday afternoon for some parking lot politics.
This event is part of Stewart’s ongoing Mobile Mayor’s Office series, which takes her around the city to visit with constituents and connect with local residents.
The “Parking Lot Politics Edition” is set to take place at the Masonic Temple, 10 Mason Dr., New Britain, on Wednesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
The mayor, who is running for a fifth term this November, will be on site with her campaign team to discuss the city’s future and their agenda moving forward. Stewart will also be available to answer questions and address concerns from residents. People are encouraged to stop by anytime within that window to talk to Stewart and her team.
The Mobile Mayor’s Office was founded by Stewart in an effort to bring local government directly to residents in their neighborhoods, out on the streets of New Britain. The goal of these events is to strengthen connections, share information on city initiatives and projects and address questions and concerns.
Past Mobile Mayor’s Office events have taken Stewart to St. Lucian’s Residence, the Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC), Stanley Quarter Park, Stop & Shop and Frisbie’s Dairy Barn.
