Extracurricular activities are a great way to get involved in school. Not only will they look great on college applications, but they also teach you many important life skills.

Many students learn how to interact with other people, which improves social and communication skills. When working with other students, they enhance their teamwork skills as well.

One student, Angel Rosado, said, “I love being a part of the student council. It allows me to meet new people with the common interest in making the school a better place.”

After-school activities allow students to do the things they love and are interested in. For example, if you enjoy sports, there are many sports teams you can join at New Britain High School, such as football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, cross country and more. If you would rather draw or sing, there are many clubs that you can join related to art and music such as the art club or band.

Extracurricular activities are important because they can make school more fun as students meet new people, make new friends, and improve their life skills.

After-school clubs will help pave the way for their success and future.
