New Britain Little League wins Bator Tournament hosted by Southington North Little League

New Britain Little League won the Bator Tournament that is hosted yearly by Southington North Little League. The team went 7-1 and won 5-4 over Southington North in the championship game. Teams that entered the tournament were New Britian Little League, Berlin Little League, West Hartford Little League, Ed Walsh (Meriden) Little League, Southington North Little League and Yalesville Little League.

The Bator Tournament is held every year and welcomes all Little Leagues to enter. The proceeds for the tournament go to past players in the form of a scholarship. This is believed to be the first tournament championship, any tournament, for New Britain Little League in over a decade.

The players on the team were: Will Estronza, Isaiah Irizarry, Keyshla Vargas, Nick Brown, Jaden Felix, Carlos Sanchez, Justice Baez, Trysten Alves, Darren DeGray, Andrew Lipinski, Emani Gonzalez and head coach Chris Lipinski.
