NEWINGTON – The growing team at Damato Chiropractic Center was pleased to welcome two new members this spring and summer.
Massage Therapy Manager Noël Sanborn began her new post in April, hiring and training massage therapists and chiropractic assistants at the facility at 123 Lowrey Place in Newington.
During her last decade as a massage therapist, Sanborn worked in different practices and served as an educator at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, now known as the Cortiva Institute.
Her transition to Damato has been a smooth one.
“It came very highly recommended to me by a dear friend who has had a lot of chiropractic care and massage therapy in her life and it really felt like the right fit,” Sanborn explained. “It’s been wonderful so far. Everyone has been so welcoming but also very professional, which I appreciate. It’s nice to always have that opportunity to keep learning.”
Dr. Kayleigh Heath arrived in June. The Wallingford native is a recent graduate of the University of Bridgeport’s prestigious School of Chiropractic.
She specializes in chiropractic and values the center’s approach to natural, holistic healthcare.
“I love it here,” Heath said. “They have such a smooth operating system I really enjoy. It’s like a family.”
Heath is the sixth doctor of chiropractic to join Damato Chiropractic Center, which began with Dr. Eric Damato.
This comprehensive health and wellness practice is home to a dynamic team of massage therapists, exercise therapists, nutritionists and specialists in personal injury and patient care. Group fitness, athletic performance and weight loss programs are offered, in addition to injury rehabilitation. Doctors also utilize dry needling, the Graston technique, orthotics and other services.
People of all ages and needs are served, from infants with spinal issues to Olympic athletes recovering from injuries and office workers whose bodies have suffered from a lack of movement and straining desk positions. Damato has also served as Team Chiropractor for The Hartford Wolf Pack for many years.
For the second year in a row, the practice was voted the Best Chiropractor in Newington in the Newington Chamber of Commerce’s Best of Newington Awards.
Its second location opened at 1420 Main St., Suite 114 in Glastonbury this March. Doctors are now able to serve patients at both offices.
