BRISTOL - The Futures Collegiate Baseball League’s All-Star rosters are set and the host-team Bristol Blues have five playing for the Western Division.

Outfielders Ben Maycock (UConn) and Chris Davis (Princeton), infielder Jake Frasca (Sacred Heart) and pitchers Tommy Curtin (CCSU) and Jake Wallace (UConn) were selected to the All-Star Game Friday afternoon during the League’s selection show.

Maycock, a Newington native, is hitting .310 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 26 games this season. He will also be participating in the Home Run Derby prior to the game, competing against players such as Zack Tower, Don Walsh, Alex Brickman and Joe Caico.

Davis is hitting .277 with 11 RBI in 29 games. He has also stolen 16 bases.

Frasca will be the Blues lone infielder of the group and is hitting .252 this season with 14 RBI, while being a mainstay at shortstop for Bristol.

Curtin has dominated opponents at the end of game for the Blues. The right-hander is 0-1 with just a 1.74 ERA and nine saves in 10 appearances. In 10 1/3 innings, the Bristol native has allowed only nine hits and two runs.

Wallace is 0-3 with a 2.87 ERA between eight relief appearances and one start. But in those three losses, he has only given up a total of five runs. Through 15 2/3 innings pitched, Wallace has 17 strikeouts.

The All-Star Game will take place Tuesday at Muzzy Field at 7:15 p.m.
