The all-Central Connecticut Conference girls cross country team was announced Monday, with area runners representing the Herald-Press area across three divisions.

In the North Division, Newington’s Katie Bohlke and Alexandra Daha were named for all-conference.

Bohlke was a regular among the front of the pack in most races this season for the Nor’easters, including the state championships. She finished sixth in the Class L field at a time of 19:57, and then finished 18th at 19:33 in the state Open race.

Daha was 44th in the Class L field, ending her cross country career with a time of 22:41.

In the South Division, Berlin’s Natalie Kmita and Nadia Malec were named with Bristol Eastern’s Fiona Gallagher and Plainville Gianna Rodriguez.

Kmita and Malec finished the season strong, with Kmita making a final push to earn second at the Class MM girls cross country championship. Her time of 20:29 earned her a spot in the Open race, where she finished 142nd (time of 22:23) as the 17th fastest freshman in the field.

Malec, also a freshman, finished the Class MM race in 22nd at 22:19.

Gallagher was Eastern’s top finisher in the Class L state championship, clocking a time of 22:44 for 46th in the field as the Lancers’ leading runner on the team.

In the West Division, Southington’s Jessica Lombardo was the lone selection.

Lombardo represented Southington at state, finishing 18th in the Class LL field with a time of 20:40. She earned a state Open bid, finishing her sophomore season in 38th at the Open with a time of 20:06.

Plainville’s Rodriguez finished the Class SS race at state in 15th, clocking a time of 22:17, but did not qualify for the state Open as the Blue Devils’ leading runner.
