Helen Studzinski Leiner

Helen Studzinski Leiner, 92, of New Britain passed away on Thursday, April 6 after a brief illness. Helen passed peacefully, with her daughter Lorraine at her side. Born in New Britain to Jon and Lucadia Studzinski.

Graduated from New Britain Senior High School and the Feener Business School in Hartford. She worked at the V.A. Hospital in Newington and she retired from the State of Connecticut after many years of service.

She leaves behind her son, Lawrence Leiner; daughter, Linda Morad and daughter, Lorraine Leiner; grandsons, Joseph DiPietro and Christopher Bartman and his wife, April Bartman, and three great-grandchildren, Amber Dipietro, Alexander Bartman and Abigail Bartman.

She would also like to acknowledge James Matava, a good friend of the family for many years, whom many fond memories will always remain. She would also like to acknowledge her ex son-in-law, Dr. Igor Bouziachvili for all of his care and love.

She went home to Jesus and asks everyone to remember her as she was.

The family wishes to express their grateful appreciation to the wonderful staff at Jerome Home in New Britain and the excellent staff at John Dempsey Hospital. Thank you all, for all you did!
