Rose T. (Pupecki) Rembisz, 95, of New Britain passed away peacefully on April 16, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond Rembisz. Rose was born on May 6, 1921, a daughter of the late Stanlislaw and Anna (Scibek) Pupecki.

Rose belonged to the VFW Post 511 Women’s Auxiliary, and was a member of the St. Francis Ladies Guild. She loved to travel, knit and crochet. She loved all animals. She was a loving and caring grandmother; her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Rose is survived by her daughter, Gail Kuzia of New Britain; six grandsons, Kevin (Beth), Kyle and Matthew Kuzia, Aaron (Laurissa), Ray III (Stacey), and Daryl Rembisz, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rose is predeceased by her son, Raymond Rembisz Jr.; three sisters, Anna Mayer, Jean Bosco, Mary Mirante, and brother. Stanley Pupecki.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Mulberry Gardens for their care and compassion during Rose’s last three years.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, April 21, 2017, 5 to 8 p.m. at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Family and friends are invited Saturday, April 22, for a 10:30 a.m. gathering, followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
