Krystyna (Baran) Murzyn, 77, of New Britain died peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Helena (Stelmaszek) and Michal Bieluk, she was a resident of New Britain for 32 years and a parishioner of Holy Cross Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. but her true passion was time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, Jeni and Grzes. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Krzysztof Baran and his wife, Halina, of New Haven and Dorota Dziopa and her husband, Maciej, of Rocky Hill; her precious granddaughter, Jennifer Mecca and her husband, Chris, of Arizona and soon expected great-granddaughter; her adored grandson, Greg Dziopa of Rocky Hill; her extended family members and close friends: Robert and Agata Blaze of New Haven and their children, Angelica, Kasia and Alex; Jan and Lilliana Magdzik and their children, Michal and Antek. Krystyna was predeceased by her first husband, Jerzy Baran and also her second husband, Czeslaw Murzyn. Special thanks to Lillianna Magdzik for being her light in those final weeks.

Funeral services for Krystyna will begin Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 8:45 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church.
