On Friday, April 28, 2017, at the age of 80, Stanislaw Dziemian of New Britain was called to eternal life after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Chodorowka Stara, Poland, on Feb. 16, 1937, came to the United States and was employed by Stanley Works for many years. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time in his garden.

Left to honor his memory are his daughters, Barbara Jankowski and her husband, Henry, Elzbieta Wlodarczyk and her husband, Marek and Justyna Durica and her husband, Cyril; his grandchildren, Jessica Jankowski, Nicholas Wlodarczyk, Jordan and Tyler Durica, Monika Sznaj and her husband, Teddy, Joanne Walker and her husband, Justin, Michelle Dickinson and her husband, Robert; his great-grandchildren, Mya and Adrian Sznaj and Brayden Walker; his former wife, Maria Dziemian-Czaplicki, as well as additional family in Poland. He was predeceased by his grandson, Krystian Wlodarczyk. Many thanks to all close friends that helped him during his battle with cancer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass Thursday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain.
