Rose (Boscarino) Crescentini, 90, of Spring Hill, Fla., widow of Alfred Crescentini, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017, in Lecanto, Fla. Born in New Britain, she was a former Plainville and New Britain resident, moving to Florida two years ago. Rose owned and operated Howie & Jim’s Restaurant in Plainville with her husband for 20 years, and later worked at the D&L Warehouse in New Britain, retiring in 1992. A graduate of New Britain High School, she was a former parishioner of St. Ann Church in New Britain and served for 10 years as a Board Member of the Hamlin Waters Edge Condos in Plainville.

Surviving is a daughter, Donna Witkin of Palm Harbor, Fla.; a son, Alfred P. Crescentini and his wife, Carrie, of Spring Hill, and two grandchildren, Brian and Tracy Witkin, both of St. Louis, Mo. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 13 10 a.m. in Veterans Sections 18A at Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours.
