Mark Fal, 33, of Newington passed away Friday, June 30, 2017, peacefully in his sleep, at home. Born in New Britain, Mark was the beloved son of the late Stefan Fal. Mark has been a long term resident of Newington, while only moving to Bristol for a brief period of time. After graduating high school, Mark attended New England Technical Institute, and graduated with a certificate in Auto Mechanics. Mark was gainfully employed at Guida’s Dairy for the last year and a half. Prior to Guida’s, Mark worked as an auto mechanic for 13 years at Midas and Bertera Subaru. When Mark wasn’t at work, he would always enjoy having side projects, working on his family’s and friend’s vehicles. He was also a member of the SVEA Club of Berlin.
Mark is survived by his adoring mother, Jadwiga Fal; sister, Martyna Fal; nephew, Austin Rowell; fraternal grandparents, Antoni Fal and Eugenia Fal; best friends of many years, Tom Grzyb and Emily Miskey; aunt and uncle, Jenny and Bobby Kerr; and several cousins. Mark loved working on vehicles, especially customizing his vehicles to his own personal style. Mark also enjoyed hiking, fishing, and being outdoors.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, Conn. Funeral services will begin at Burritt Hill Funeral Home Thursday, July 6, 2017, at 8:45 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, 303 Eddy Glover Boulevard, New Britain.
