Hubertina Frances (Tina) Koper

Hubertina Frances (Tina) Koper of Middletown, formerly of Spring Hill, Fla., went to her final resting place on July 20, 2017. She was surrounded by her loving family when she went to meet her devoted husband Stanley (deceased in 2005) to make the journey into heaven.

Born in Aachen, Germany, Tina, Stanley and their daughter immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1954. She worked as a supervisor for the Royal Typewriter Co. in Hartford before moving to Florida in 1984. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church in Spring Hill. She leaves behind her daughter, Theresa, and son-in-law, Arnold Turgeon of Middletown; a granddaughter, Tina Nadeau, her husband Jonathan and their children Elijah and Lauren; a grandson, Elliot Sirotnak, his wife Annmarie and their children Ethan and Devin. Tina was also predeceased by her sister; Sr. M. Ursula of Germany; and her parents, William and Theresa Drankowski.

Tina was a generous person and was always willing to help others. She will be very much missed. We will celebrate her life Thursday July 27, 2017, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain Burial will be at a later date in Florida.
