Irene Zubrowski, 91, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2017.
She was born in Zbojna, Poland, a daughter of the late Franciszek and Anastasia (Macko) Kopec. She was a former communicant of Sacred Heart Church in New Britain.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stefan Zubrowski.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Heddy Zubrowski of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three loving sons, Bronislaw Zubrowski and his wife, Barbara, of New Britain, Zygmunt Zubrowski and Kazimierz Zubrowski; one sister, Zofia Parzych of New Britain; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services are Saturday, Sept. 2, at 8:30 a.m. from the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Broad St., New Britain. Committal services will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery Chapel, Burritt St., New Britain. Visiting hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
