Catherine (Chudzik) Hermanowski (fondly known as Krinkles to her family), age 94, of Jupiter, Fla., died peacefully on Aug. 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stanley in 2005. She was born in New Britain, Conn., and attended local schools. Married on Nov. 20, 1942, Catherine and Stanley had three children, Roger Hermanowski and his wife, Jean, of North Carolina, Gary Hermanowski and his partner, Gerald Delmonico, of California, and Nancy Coriaty and her husband, Alan, of Connecticut. Closest to her heart she leaves five grandchildren, Alicia Garbarino, Jill Kurzontkowski, Kathryn Riesco, Beth Forman, and John Voglesong along with 10 great-grandchildren who mourn her passing.
She resided in Kensington, Conn., for 25 years and relocated to Jupiter 33 years ago. She was employed by the Greater Hartford Community College as the secretary to the Director of Library Services.
She loved to garden, shop, and cook her “specialities” for family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill, Conn., Sept. 6, 2017. Calling hours will be 10 to 11 a.m. with a service to follow.
