John Amorosino, 95, of St. Lucian’s Residence in New Britain, formerly of Bristol, passed away peacefully Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Born May 31, 1922, in Lynbrook, N.Y., he was the son of the late Frank and Sofie (Barnetti) Amorosino. John was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, a 1947 graduate of Dartmouth College, and excelled as an office furniture salesman.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Mari Amorosino of Unionville, and a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Ed Lang of Marblehead, Mass. John is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren: Paige Selvais and her family (husband, Fred and sons Cody, Brady, and Riley) of Marblehead; Taylor Barner of Salem, Mass. (husband, Matt); Ryan Amorosino (wife, Angela and daughters Giuliana and Ava) of Prospect, Conn.; Brad Amorosino of Oakland, Calif.; and Aaron Amorosino (wife, Summer and son Aidan) of West Hartford, Conn.
