Bernice Froeba

Bernice Froeba, 92, formerly of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017, at Ledgecrest Healthcare Center.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Edith (Galpin) Froeba. Bernice was a resident of New Britain most of her life and was formerly employed as an Executive Secretary at Stanley Works. She was a member of the Stanley Works Girls Club. Bernice loved bowling, traveling, swimming and cooking.

Surviving are two sisters, Marian Plagemann of Madison, and Margaret Murphy and her husband, Francis, of New Britain; three nephews, George Froeba Jr., Karl Plagemann, and Francis Murphy Jr.; and two nieces, April Kosier and her husband, Mike, and Linda Kornhi and her husband, Mike. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, George L. Froeba Jr.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Please share a memory of Bernice with the family in the online guest book at www.ericksonhansen.com
