Irene (Ryniec) Rosinski, 92, lifelong resident of New Britain, died on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017. She was one of two daughters born to the late Chester and Rose (Kozlowski) Ryniec. Irene retired from Emhart Corporation where she was employed as a payroll clerk. Being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were the greatest joys of her life. She loved to spend time with her family going on trips to Cape Cod and also enjoyed sewing and quilting. The sparkle of her hazel eyes will always be remembered.
Irene is survived by her son, Jan H. Rosinski and his wife, Patti, of Harwinton; two daughters, Linda J. Clark of Waddington, N.Y., and Barbara J. Colvin and her husband, David, of Old Saybrook; eight devoted grandchildren, Charles Clark III, Brian Clark, Kevin Clark, Jocelyn Jensen, Jessi Rosinski, Michael Iaia, Jeremy Iaia and David Colvin; 10 cherished great-grandchildren and her sister, Claire Kilday. Irene was predeceased by Henry J. Rosinski, her husband of 59 years and her son-in-law, Charles R. Clark Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, Oct. 26 (which would have been Irene’s 93rd birthday) at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
