Leon C. Hatoff

Leon C. Hatoff, 104, of New Britain, Conn., died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at home. Leon was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the son of the late Leon and Bella (Segar) Hatoff. He worked as a jeweler for New Britain Jewelers for several years. Mr. Hatoff served his country honorably during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Leon also enjoyed spending his quality time with his friends at the New Britain OTB.

Leon is survived by his close friend and caregiver, Tom Cronin of Farmington, Conn. Leon was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Hatoff.

A graveside service with full military honors rendered by the U.S. Navy for Mr. Hatoff will be held Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, Conn.
