Marion Lee (Brown) Edelson, 88, of Berlin, Conn., died peacefully at home on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018. She was the wife of the late Merwin (Mike) Edelson. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of Ethel and Meyer Brown.
Marion is survived by her children, Ron and wife Heather of Venice, Fla., Amy and husband Jacob Oved of North Palm Beach, Fla., and David and girlfriend Cheryl Fortin of Berlin, Conn. Marion loved her grandchildren more than words can say. They were the love of her life. Aaron, Adina, Autumn, Bethany, Gabriella, Katelyn, Kye and Michael will greatly miss their grandma, especially the summers at her pool and celebrating birthdays and holidays together. Marion also loved to watch the New England Patriots and NASCAR racing. She was a huge fan of both sports. She also leaves behind her dear friend Barbara Landow, of 76 years, niece Lynn Greenhouse who was like a daughter to her, and many other nieces and nephews. We appreciate the special home care and kindness Marion received from former daughter-in-law, Ann Vaccaro, as well as home care givers Megan and Patience. As Marion would say “Love you more.”
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, beginning at 11 a.m. at Temple B’nai Tikvoh Shalom, 180 Still Road, Bloomfield, Conn., immediately followed by burial at the Beth Alom Cemetery, 46 Allen St., New Britain, Conn.
