Pawel (Paul) P. Syntlo, 74, of Plainville, Conn., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut at New Britain General. Pawel was born in Auton, France, and was the son of the late John and Helena (Olszewska) Szydlo.

Pawel is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Christine Syntlo; his two sons, Kenneth and David Syntlo (wife Cheryl); his daughter, Karen Colley; his sister, Stacia; six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; his sisters-in-law, Regina Koluch, Halina Macniak and her husband, Zbigniew, and many nieces and nephews. Pawel was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Danielle Gagliardi; sister-in-law, Doame Frankowski and two brothers-in-law, Richard Koluch and Michael Frankowski.

A memorial Mass will be held Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain, Conn. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The Paul A.
