Celina (Gajdowska) Waldowski, 88, of New Britain, died on April 3, 2018, at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Waldowski. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Jan and Janina Gajdowski, she was a New Britain resident for 48 years and a member of Sacred Heart Church. She enjoyed tending to her household and cooking. A loving mother and grandmother, she leaves her two daughters, Bozena Raszkiewicz and her husband Leszek, and Zdzislawa Gwizdala, and her grandchildren, Marek Raszkiewicz, Celina Gwizdala and her husband Mario Zalewski, Mirek Gwizdala, and Violetta Mingoc. She also leaves her daughter-in-law, Halina Waldowski. She was predeceased by her son Jan Waldowski and her granddaughter Monika Raszkiewicz. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, April 9, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain.
