Irene Przybylowicz, 86, of New Britain, beloved wife of the late Casimir Przybylowicz, passed away on April 10, 2018, at LiveWell (Alzheimer’s Resource Center) after a long illness, with family by her side. Irene was born August 20, 1931, in Poland to the late Jakub and Bronislawa Wesoly. She immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1950. Irene was employed by Stanley Black & Decker, retiring in 1993 with 34 years of service. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church as well as being active in the Haller Post Ladies Auxiliary. Irene enjoyed going to the beach, traveling to Florida with her husband and enjoying her time at the casino. She is survived by her devoted son, Andrew and his wife Gayle of Southington; her niece Barbara Jaworski and her husband Richard of Newington, her greatnieces Cheryl Jaworski and Laura Jaworski and her husband Christopher Joe. Irene’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to Mulberry Gardens and LiveWell staff for their wonderful care, and for their many acts of kindness and support during her illness. Her funeral procession will leave the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., Monday morning, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. Family and friends may call from 8:30-9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, New Britain at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the chapel at Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. The family has requested donations be made in Irene’s memory to LiveWell, 1261 South Main St., Plantsville, CT 06479, instead of sending flowers to the funeral home.
