Lucien H. Renaud, 70, of North Port, Fla., and formerly New Britain, Conn., son of the late Joseph and Alice Renaud, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Florida, on February 18, 2018. Lucien served his country in the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Lucien was a proud original member of the Drifters Motorcycle Club in New Britain, Conn. He lived most of his life in Conn., before retiring to Fla., in 2008.

He is predeceased by his brother, Ronald Renaud of Nokomis, Fla. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Renaud of New Britain, Conn., several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A memorial will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 400 Farmington Ave., Berlin, CT. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the State Veteran’s Cemetery, 317 Bow Lane, Middletown, CT. A funeral procession, lead by a motorcycle escort, will assemble at the Moose Lodge at 10:15 a.m. If you have a bike, please join us in taking Lou on his final ride. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
