Daniel Labickas, 75, of New Britain, husband of Maureen (Smith) Labickas, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. A native and lifelong New Britain resident, Daniel is a graduate of New Britain High School, and was a Machinist at several local machine shops until his retirement in 1997. He was a member of St. Jerome Church in New Britain.

Besides his wife Maureen, he leaves five daughters, Erin Labickas of Bristol; Amy Labickas and her husband John Sillup of New Britain; Allison Babin and her husband John of Southington; Shannon Jones and her husband Peter of Wethersfield; and Danielle Carvaca and her husband Alexander of Meriden; a brother, Kenneth Labickas and his wife Gail of Middletown; a sister, Joan Horanzy of New Britain; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Jordan, Emily, Nicholas, Samantha, Cameron, Mia, Nina and Reid; a great- grandson, Gavin; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Saturday morning, 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at St. Jerome Church of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, 1010 Slater Rd., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108.
