Richard Arthur Strout

Richard Arthur Strout entered into eternal life on April 27, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with cardiac and respiratory illness. Richard worked as a Master Mechanic for most of his working years. A simple, selfless and loving man; affectionately known best as Grandpa. He had a sense of humor second to none. Left to grieve his absence but celebrate a life of sacrifice for others are his wife, Louise (Raineult) Strout; children, Cathy Monroe (Dick), Shirley Passalaque (Rick), Bambi Strout, Rick Strout(Jill), Melinda Buck (Jim), Lori Vincent, Ben Strout, Debbie Camarra (Fred), Brian Pampuro (Jayne), Linda Boucher, Carol Jones (Martin); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; sister, Beverly McFarland and brother, George Strout. He was predeceased by his parents, Iris and Basil Strout and sisters, Arlene Peterson and Louise Fields. Celebration of his life will be held on June 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Liberty Baptist Church, 265 Maple Ave., Bristol, Conn.

The family wishes to thank Pastor Garrett Johnston for his kindness. Dr. Manny Katsetos and staff at Lexington Cardiology, special caregiver, Diana Raymond, Bristol Hospice, Visiting Angel Home Care and the staff of The Pines in Bristol.
