Kurt M. Talbot, 52, of New Britain, Conn., passed away suddenly Saturday, May 5, 2018, at home. Kurt was born June 21, 1965, and was the son of Norman R. Talbot of N.C., and Nancy Blake of Plainville, Conn. He resided in Berlin, Conn., through his school years and graduated from Berlin High School in 1983. Kurt played drums in the high school band. He had a love of the wilderness and nature. Kurt loved hiking, hunting and rock climbing. He also loved drawing portraits of band members from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, two of his favorite bands.

Kurt is survived by his two loving sons, Justin Talbot and Jeremy Talbot both of Meriden, Conn.; his brother, Corey and his wife Donna and son Tristan of Hebron, Conn., as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A Celebration of Kurt’s life will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, Conn. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends may call at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, Wednesday, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Directions to funeral home – I 84 east or west, exit 37 (Fienmann Rd) right off exit – one mile down on right. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Conn. Audubon Society, 2325 Burr St., Fairfield, CT 06824.
