Angel 'Kiki' Colon

Angel “Kiki” Colon, 64, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 19, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, following an unfortunate accident. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Gregorio Colon and Alejandrina Rodriguez. Kiki was a New Britain resident, most of his life and was a member of St. Mary Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Hilda Jusino, Antonia Ortiz, and Angelica Acevedo; a brother, Raymond Colon; a special brother-in-law, Angel Jusino; and many cousins, nieces and nephews and loved ones of the community. He was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Cooper and Amelia Lopez, and by two brothers, William Colon and Daniel Colon.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. Mary Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church.
