JuCoby T. Powell, 38, peacefully passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. Born in Boston, he lived most his life in Connecticut. He finished his education by getting his high school diploma. He became known as a “Jack of all trades” making him a hard worker. He enjoyed cooking and making his famous fried Oreo cookies. How do you describe our son, our dad, our brother, our uncle, our friend? As a loving, caring, always listening without impartiality, never judgmental. He just loved everyone and wanted to be helpful to all. To wrap it all up, we will miss our tall, jolly giant.

JuCoby leaves behind his children, Elijah, Azayah, Julius, Jenessa and Jessica, who is the loving mother of his children; a mother, Denise, a father, Hillary, a dad, Carlton and sister, Latisia. He also leaves behind Lucky, Janine, Andre, Dondi, LaChina, Hillary, Danon, Felicia, DeAndre, Sonya, Scott and his cousin, Guanna, who was his talking buddy; his best friend whom he loved, Theresa and her children. He has so many relatives he loved, just too many to name. But just remember, not being mentioned does not mean you’re not loved.

Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018, at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. Individual, personal remembrances starting at 6:40 p.m. Please share a memory or note of sympathy at www.carlsonfuneral home.com
