Czeslaw Tokarz, 93, widower of Gertruda (Sufner) Tokarz, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was born in Poland, and was son to the late Wladyslaw Sr. and Monika (Holda) Tokarz. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and retiree of McChristy Industries. He enjoyed fishing, visiting the shooting range, gardening, working on his car and photography. He will be remembered for always being there for family, especially his grandchildren, doting on them was his specialty.

He will be dearly missed by a son, Arthur Tokarz and his wife, Angela, a daughter, Kristine Skoczylas and husband, Wlodzimierz, step brothers, Charles and Walter Tokarz, four grandchildren, Lorraine and Gregory Skoczylas and Stephen and Katherine Tokarz, two great-grandchildren, Kiera Safford and Callum Skoczylas, nieces, nephews and extended family in Poland.

He was also predeceased by a brother, Tadeusz Tokarz. A time of visitation will be held, Thursday, July 5, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Funeral services will begin Friday, July 6, 2018, at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his funeral liturgy at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
