Richard Krukowski, 57, of New Britain, died on Sunday, July 22, 2018, after a brief illness. He was the son of Teresa (Lukaszewicz) and the late Alfred Krukowski. Richie valued God’s gift of life. He never focused on structured activities or being set to a schedule; he preferred living life at his own pace and doing things his own way. Richie was grateful for his family and cherished every moment spent with them. God took Richie to His loving home and now he is at peace. In addition to his mother, Richie is survived by his son, Kyle Krukowski of New Britain; his brother, Thomas Krukowski; his sister-in-law, Regina Franklin and nephew, A.J. Krukowski, all of Colorado; his aunt, Wanda Dumais of Deep River; his uncle, Bruno Lukas and wife, Theresa of New Britain; many cousins and friends too numerous to mention. The Krukowski family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Jessica Clement and her staff as well as the nurses and staff of the second and sixth floors at the UConn Medical Center for their wonderful care and compassion.
