Harold (Hal) Groth, 68, of Raymond, N.H., formerly of Bristol, Conn., passed away on Sept. 6, 2018.
He was born in New Britain, Conn.; the son of Carl Groth Sr. and Hazel (Morley) Groth. He grew up in Plainville, Conn., and was a graduate of Plainville High School. He also served in the U. S. Army. Hal was employed at Arna Machine in Bristol, for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and bowled on many leagues when he resided in Connecticut.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda (Shields) Groth of Raymond, N.H., his brother, Carl Groth Jr. and wife, Mary Jane, and niece, Brianne of Plainville; his children, Jennifer Six and husband, Ray of Mannington, W.V., and son, Jeffrey Groth of Jacksonville, Fla.; his step-children, Robyn Ayres and husband, John of Raymond N.H., and Robert Mikulak and wife, Roxanne of Milton, Fla. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Tiffanie, Tyler and Ryan Six, Jasmine, Katherine and Dalton Groth, Griffin and Ryder Ayres, and his great-granddaughter Ahrianna Rogers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral with military honors will be held in New Hampshire, on Friday, Sept. 14, 2018.
