We are deeply saddened to share that Carmina "Carmella" (Biello) Rocco, 80, formerly of Kensington, widow of her beloved husband, Dr. Mario P. Rocco, passed away Sept. 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. A native of Italy, she was born in Monteroduni, Provincia de Isernia, to the late Salvatore and the late Giulia (Renzi) Biello.
A devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Maria (Barone) and Richard Molinsky of Weston, her son and daughter-in-law, Dominic and Nancy Barone of Avon, her grandchildren, Max Molinsky, and Allison, Christian, and Cameron Barone, who were truly the pride and joy of her life. She also leaves two brothers and a sister-in-law, Carmine and Lucy Biello, formerly of New Britain, and Frank Biello of New Britain, and her sister and brother-in-law, Maria Gilda and Philip Bruschino of Kensington.
Carmella selflessly dedicated her life to family and friends and poured her heart into countless acts of kindness and generosity to all who entered her welcoming home. Friends and relatives are invited to call at Porter's Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, on Saturday from 10:15 a.m. before her Funeral Liturgy at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
