Joseph P. Kulak

Joseph P. Kulak, 56, of Newington, died on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at his home.

Born in New Britain on April 28, 1962, son of the late Henry and Catherine (Muszynski) Kulak, he was raised in New Britain and was residing in Newington. Joseph was a member of the 8th Ward Club of New Britain. He retired from Central Connecticut State University after many years of employment. He enjoyed bird watching, outdoor activities, carpentry, crossword puzzles and recalling anecdotes.

He is survived by his siblings, Eugene J. Kulak and his wife Andrea, Juliana M. Kulak, Elizabeth C. Kulak and Laureane Pikora and husband Michael, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, his twin, John Kulak, and Raymond J. Kulak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, directly at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. There will be no calling hours. To share a memory with his family, please visit us at www.duksa.net .
