Born on May 24, 1938, in New Britain, Barbara was the daughter of the late Aloysious and Mary (Zapatka) Kozlowski and the beloved wife of the late Theodore F. Federowicz. Prior to her retirement, Barbara worked in sales for the retail industry. She was a communicant of St. Jerome's Church.  Barbara is survived by her daughters, Deborah Collins and her husband, Greg, of Cushing, Maine, Donna Heroux and her husband, Leonard, of East Hampton; her brother, Raymond Kozlowski and his wife, Rachel, of Cheshire and her grandsons, Jason McAllister, Leonard Heroux, III and Nathaniel Heroux.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Barbara's family on Friday morning, Feb.15, 2019, at the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jerome's Church at noon.
