Mary K. Kosakowski, 94, of New Britain, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2021, after a short illness. Mary was a life-long resident of the City of New Britain and was known as a kind soul. She was the daughter of the late Kasper Janjanian Adams and Rose Bayandorian Adams. She and her husband were members of the Sacred Heart Church in New Britain.

Mary is survived by her sister Elizabeth A. Careb, her nephew Matthew Careb and other nieces, nephews and relatives. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Kosakowski, Sr. and her son, Charles J. Kosakowski, Jr.

Funeral rites for Mary will be held Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. with the procession departing at 10 a.m. from the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed by a Liturgy of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. Committal service and final resting place will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, 662 Burritt St., New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
