Nancy Daoust

Nancy Daoust of Aurora, Colo., died on Feb. 9, 2021, with her family by her side. She suffered from Dementia for the past 5 years. She was born in Hartford on Feb. 19, 1959. She lived in New Britain most of her life until she moved to Aurora in 1997. She was a loving and caring mother, wife and grandmother. She was predeceased by her father, Phil Benson of New Britain. She will be remembered for creating fantastic meals for friends and family.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Melissa Benson of Aurora, son Reggie Daoust of Aurora, son Jason Benson who provided unending loving care for her and sacrificed many, many hours ensuring her comfort of Aurora and her husband James Daoust. She adored her grandchildren Kyleigh, Connor and Dominic and will be dearly missed by them. She is also survived by her mother Sally Benson, her brother and sister in law Robert and Bonnie Benson all of New Britain. Calling hours will be Monday, Feb. 15 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Horan and McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.
