Jolanta M. Kierklo, age 95, resident of Newington, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021. Born in Lubstowek (near Konin) Poland on Aug. 25, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Maria (Mietkiewicz) Perlikowski.

Jolanta was a dedicated parishioner of Holy Cross Church. She was known in Polish community as a teacher at Polish Saturday School, member and chronicler of Polonia Paderewski Choir and Polish Singers of America, ARCA. Jolanta loved people and helped many in different ways. She donated to many charities and people in need. She always found the time to spend with her family and friends. Jolanta will be missed and loved by all who were blessed to know her. Her last words were “I love you all.”

In addition to her parents, Jolanta was predeceased by her first husband Jan Weglewski. She later became remarried and was predeceased by her second husband Mieczyslaw Kierklo. Jola was also predeceased by her beloved niece Ania Perlikowski of Canada and sister Zofia Janicka of Poland.

Jolanta loved her family very much. She is survived by a daughter Ewa Weglewski and her children Michelle Amara and Jonathan Amara; stepson Edward Kierklo and his wife Joanna of California, her brother, Dr. Andrzej Perlikowski and his wife Zofia, of Poland, niece Elizabeth Perlikowski of Canada and niece Ewa Siwinska of Poland and many dear friends.

The hours for visitation will be on Monday, March 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the New Britain Memorial Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 2 at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Church. Interment will be private. To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at .
