Victor John Fiumara, 88, of New Britain joined the Lord in Heaven on Oct. 10, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Husband to his beloved Yolanda (Didato) Fiumara of 68 wonderful years, Victor was known far and wide for his infectious smile, pride in his Italian heritage, and above all the love of his family. He was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in New Britain. He was also a proud member of the IPIC (Italian Political Independent Club) in Berlin, where he enjoyed being part of the bocce league. Victor loved gardening and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. Victor lived his life fully and without regret, his kind soul, sense of humor and smile was contagious. No matter where he went, he always made a friend for life. He truly adored the simple pleasures in life: having coffee and/or breakfast every morning with family or friends. Victor will sadly be missed by all, but he will remain in our hearts forever. “When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind.”
