Regina (Maslowski) Doski, 86, longtime resident of New Britain, loving wife to the late John Doski, peacefully passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2021 at her home. She was born Mar. 20, 1935 and raised in Bialystok, Poland, one of three children to the late Antoni and Anna (Kowalewski) Maslowski. Regina immigrated to the United States in 1963 to care for her aunt who was ill at the time. She met John in 1964; they married and started a family. Prior to her retirement, Regina was employed by Macristy Industries for many years. She was a devout Catholic and faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Church, with a great love of the Blessed Mother. Spending time with her family brought Regina great joy.
She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Irene Klemonski and her husband Keith, of East Hampton; her two sons, Stanley J. Doski and his wife Margaret, of Bristol and Richard T. Doski of Farmington; a sister Leokadia Sienkiewicz in Poland; seven adored grandchildren, Jenna, Daniel and Lauren Klemonski, Jonathan and Christopher Doski, Brooke and Richard Doski and Sebastian Wolfe. In addition to her husband and parents, Regina was predeceased by her brother Stanley Maslowski.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects to the Doski family Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Paul A. Shaker Funeral Home, 764 Farmington Ave., New Britain, CT. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021 with the procession departing at 8:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain.
