Marguerite (Morneau) Sadosky

Marguerite (Morneau) Sadosky, 97, of Wethersfield, died peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Chester C. Sadosky, Sr. Born in Holyoke, MA, daughter of the late Wilmer and Irene (Desjardins) Morneau, she was raised in Worcester, MA, and resided in Hartford, New Britain, Newington, and Wethersfield.

She began her career at Pratt & Whitney, Chandler/Evans, and eventually retired from Connecticut Mutual after many years of employment. Mrs. Sadosky was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington, and the Knights of Columbus Seniors. Maggie and Chet loved to travel and enjoyed many vacations throughout the world. She liked to dance, and quilting was a favorite pastime.

Her survivors include her son Chester C. Sadosky, Jr. and wife Adele of Cary, NC, and two daughters, Jacqueline Marzi and husband Daniel of East Hampton, and Carolyn Kane and husband Thomas of Chester; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Sadosky and wife Jennie, Michael Marzi and wife Michelle, Catherine Seaton and husband Christopher, David Marzi and wife Jennifer, Jennifer Linn, Kristopher Linn, and Brian Marzi and wife Jessica; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother Wilmer Moreau, Jr., and her sister Rita "Marilyn" Murphy.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington.
