SOUTHINGTON - A Bristol woman has been accused of stealing information from her employer in October and using it to find a colleague, whom she then allegedly assaulted.
Jessica Ramos, 27, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny after turning herself in last week to police.
According to police, Ramos on Oct. 25 went to Comfort Suites, at 64 Knotter Drive, her employer at the time, on her day off. She allegedly entered a back room without permission and took keys for a manager’s office, where she made copies of another employee’s personnel file. The file included that employee’s home address.
Police say Ramos then attacked the colleague at a house in Plainville.
She was arrested by Plainville police after the incident and is facing separate charges in connection with the assault.
Ramos, who is free on a $2,500 nonsurety bond, is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Jan. 8.
