Fire damages industrial building in Plainville

PLAINVILLE - A fire damaged an industrial building at 15 Cronk Road Saturday evening.

Firefighters from Farmington and Southington helped the local department battle the blaze in below-zero wind chill.

The fire took place in an industrial complex and reached its peak by 4:45 p.m., according to the Plainville department.

The entrance to Cronk Road from Roberts Street was blocked off by police, as was the entrance to Cronk Road from Norton Place.
