Police looking for man who robbed stores in Plainville, West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD – Police in West Hartford and Plainville are seeking the public’s help in finding the man they believe committed armed robberies in both towns over the past few days.

The man, described a male with a “husky” build, showed a black handgun and demanded cash during each robbery, police said.

The robberies occurred at Supreme Gas at 141 Park Road, West Hartford on April 19 and 23 and at the Sunoco gas station at 380 New Britain Avenue, Plainville on April 21. Each of the robberies occurred between 8:30 to 9:30 p.m., police said.

Anyone with information on the robber is asked to call the West Hartford police Detective Division at 860-570-8870.
