PLAINVILLE - A Plainville man arrested last month for allegedly threatening to carry out a shooting at the police has now been charged with violating his probation.
Adam Dzilenski, 30, of 452 East St., was charged Monday with one count of violation of probation. According to the warrant, the violation was brought about because of two arrests in June.
In one of those cases, the warrant said, Dzilenski allegedly made a threat on July 6 during a phone conversation with a social worker at Wheeler Clinic - which offers services for behavioral health, addiction and mental health issues.
“I am being treated unfairly,” Dzilenski said, the warrant alleges. “I just reported my car missing and I was arrested. I should go shoot up the police department.”
The police department employs 38 officers and 10 civilians.
“I should find her and beat her to death then go beat up the cops that arrested me,” Dzilenski allegedly said, the warrant continued.
Police were unable to determine who Dzilenski was talking about when he said he should “beat her to death,” the warrant states. He was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.
Prior to this arrest, Dzilenski was charged on June 3 with disorderly conduct. In that case, court papers said, police were called to his apartment building twice for what was described as “disruptive behavior.”
During the second call, a neighbor said Dzilenski has been banging on his door, playing music loudly and “making all kinds of noise.” Additionally, the warrant said, the neighbor reported hearing him say he would “wipe everyone out in the building.”
During the June 3 arrest, the warrant said, Dzilenski told an officer something to the effect that, “when he gets out, he is coming back at (police) tenfold.”
Dzilenski has been held on $50,000 since he was charged with threatening to shoot up the police department. On Monday, a judge set his bond in the probation violation case at $5,000. His cases were continued to Aug. 6.
