Southington Chamber of Commerce to present awards Thursday

SOUTHINGTON - The Southington Chamber of Commerce has announced its list of honorees and award nomiinees for its 79th annual meeting and dinner Thursday at the Aqua Turf Club.

The dinner, “A Night of Excellence,” is set for 6 p.m. at the banquet facility, 556 Mulberry St. The award winners will be officially announced at the event.

The Riccio Brothers Business Person of the Year nominees are Mike Fasulo of Fasulo & Albini, CPAs, Julie Wallace of Bloom Yoga Fitness Studios and Craig Zettergren of Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers.

The Ann Hauver Employee of the Year nominees are Amy Douglas of Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers, Patty Gugliotti of Liberty Bank and Shane Zajac of the Law Office of Jeremy Taylor, LLC.

The Community Spirit award nominees are Ally G’s Everyday Angels, Dolores Fanelli & Joanne Alfieri and HQ Dumpster & Recycling.

The Chamber Woman of the Year award will go to Amanda Roberts.

The 2017 Beautification Award recipients will be All Dolled Up, Bradley Mountain Soaps, Bread for Life, Chili’s, Ductworks HVAC Services, Ideal Tavern, Mt. Southington Ski Area, Southington Community Cultural Arts and the YMCA.

The recipients of the Chairman’s Award and Executive Director’s Award will be announced during the meeting. The induction ceremony for the chamber’s 2017-18 officers and Board of Directors will also take place then.
