SOUTHINGTON - A Glastonbury man has been charged for allegedly breaking a window at a local bar.

Finn Gordon, 21, is facing charges of second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with police. The charges stem from an incident last Thursday, at about 1 a.m., at the 75 Center bar and restaurant, which is named for its address on Center Street.

Police were called to the bar on the report of an intoxicated man, who was later identified as Gordon, after he allegedly punched the front window to the establishment, breaking it. He then ran off and was eventually caught by bouncers of the bar, who were able to detain Gordon until police arrived.

Police said Gordon was not cooperative with police. He was treated by medics for a laceration to his hand.

Staff at the bar estimated the window would cost $2,000 to fix.

Gordon is free on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Monday.
